Every minute we spend measuring agile maturity is a minute we are not measuring the business outcomes that an agile approach is supposed to produce.
We don't measure the speed at which a sous chef prepares an appetizer. We ask the customer if they enjoyed their dining experience.
If the sous chef is taking too long or not making a quality appetizer, the customer will let us know.
Let's focus on our business goals today!
